How It Works
The circular farming process
Organic waste comes in, larvae go out and frass goes onto fields. The Black Soldier Fly turns a disposal problem into a production asset with a 12-day cycle and zero chemical inputs.
We also aggregate traditional Zambian edible insects including Mopane worms (ifinkubala), flying termites (inswa) and locusts from women and youth groups in rural communities.

Priscilla Musenge
Founder and CEO
Priscilla founded Entomo Farm in 2020 to make insect farming practical and accessible for Zambian farmers. She leads operations, outgrower development and institutional partnerships. Her work has shaped the company from a small BSF colony into a full farming, training and aggregation business.

Frass is the byproduct of our larvae process: shed skins and excrement that is NPK-tested. It contains beneficial soil microbes that improve soil structure and microbial activity over time.
