Zambia’s leading Black Soldier Fly farm
Based in Lusaka, we convert organic waste into protein-rich larvae, fertiliser and farmer incomes whilst running training, educational tours and an outgrower programme. We are proudly female-led, founded by Priscilla Musenge.

The circular farming process
Organic waste comes in, larvae go out and frass goes onto fields. The Black Soldier Fly turns a disposal problem into a production asset with a 12-day cycle and zero chemical inputs.
We also aggregate traditional Zambian edible insects including Mopane worms (ifinkubala), flying termites (inswa) and locusts from women and youth groups in rural communities.

A female-led team of farmers, agriculture specialists and community development professionals, backed by specialist consultants across agronomy, nutrition, entomology, technology and food safety.
Priscilla founded Entomo Farm in 2020 to make insect farming practical and accessible for Zambian farmers. She leads operations, outgrower development and institutional partnerships. Her work has shaped the company from a small BSF colony into a full farming, training and aggregation business.
