Based in Lusaka, we convert organic waste into protein-rich larvae, fertiliser and farmer incomes while running training, educational tours and an outgrower programme for local farms. We are proudly female-led, founded by Priscilla Musenge.
Organic waste comes in, larvae go out and frass goes onto fields. The Black Soldier Fly turns a disposal problem into a production asset with a 12-day cycle and zero chemical inputs.
We also aggregate traditional Zambian edible insects including Mopane worms (ifinkubala), flying termites (inswa) and locusts from women and youth groups in rural communities.
Our outgrower programme creates new income streams for smallholder farmers. We train, provide starter colonies and buy larvae back at agreed prices.
We also work with NGOs, schools and other development partners, connecting insect farming knowledge with communities across Zambia.
